Junior Achievement

What is Junior Achievement?

Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) recruits, trains and supports business volunteers as they deliver quality assured programmes to inspire and motivate pupils to make the most of their education.

There is a range of programmes available suitable for primary pupils covering subject areas like maths, science and enterprise. Each programme reinforces key messages like the importance of education. Programme design incorporates opportunities to practise skills such as team-work, decision making, creativity and communication. The participation of business volunteers ensures that students make connections between their academic studies and the real world throughout the programme.

The boys of St. Brigid’s B.N.S. have really benefited from joining and participating in the Junior Achievement Programme.
