Rainbows Ireland

Rainbows is a National Children’s Voluntary service that helps children affected by loss through bereavement, separation or divorce.  Rainbows is a listening service for children and young adults struggling to come to terms with significant loss and change in their lives.  All facilitators of the programme are fully trained and vetted by Rainbows Ireland.   All children and facilitators involved in the programme are bound by confidentiality. This is a free service and is funded by Tusla – the child and family agency.

St.Brigid’s B.N.S. became a registered Rainbows site in 2013.  We are fortunate to have a number of trained facilitators on our staff.

Expression of interest forms are available from the school. If you would like more information on Rainbows please contact Nuala Cullen, Niamh McCabe or Kathryn Gibbons.  Further information is also available on the Rainbows website here.
